As makeup has seasons and trends just like fashion, Charlotte Tilbury is constantly developing new products and working on collaborations with artists and celebrities to create new looks. Because these product launches are often extensive and require more than just a homepage banner, SKAGGS worked to create interactive web experiences that would be both useful and enjoyable. This includes The Foundation Finder, whose launch included an interactive experience that helps the user to identify his or her skin tone and condition and then recommends the ideal foundation. Working with eight different skin conditions and five different skin tones, as well as Charlotte’s personal recommendations, the Foundation Finder was an immediate success, highlighting the product’s ease of use and demystifying the product selection process. Similarly, SKAGGS created a Lipstick Finder to allow visitors to the site to select a lipstick based on their skin tone and color preference—and then to see it on a model with similar coloring.
